Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories for the PS2 may have gone live yesterday, according to a media release from Take 2, but next-gen console fans still have some serious wait time for a title.
Igniq reader Mitchel C. wrote in asking for any information about a next-gen release. According to a May media release from Take 2, a new version of the game will go live in late 2007 for both the Xbox 360 and the PS3.

Developed by world-class designers Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto IV will be simultaneously available for the PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360™ and is currently planned to be in stores in North America on October 16, 2007 and in Europe on October 19, 2007.
