SyNET Entertainment is getting ready to change the face of video game golf later this summer when it releases Shot-Online. The game will be the first 3D online golf game that’s incorporates RPG components and a multiplayer setting.
Shot-Online will sell for about $29.99 when it makes its debut. It’s undergone a year-long beta/stress test period in Korea, Japan, Australia, and China. More than one million people have participated in the test to date.
Games features include:
- Simple, intuitive play
- Currency for buying skill-enhancing items
- Gallery mode
- Chat support
- Multiple camera angles
- Real PGA Tour formality
The game is free to play right now by clicking here. When released, the package edition will include a host of perks not available in the free version of the game.
I have to admit, RPG golf doesn’t sound very exciting to me, but the title does look pretty neat and there’s no doubt the RPG and chat modes will add a whole new level to video golf.
