The Xbox Live Vision camera has received a lot of buzz and it seems as if the nifty little device will be making its way to market soon.
The camera will come along with a musical game called TotemBall, which players will control through movements and gestures. The idea is to create a totem pole on wheels through various levels.
And while TotemBall kind of sounds like TotemBore, the camera is a neat addition to the 360 line up. In the Live Arcade game UNO, for example, the camera will let players see each other’s faces. Those playing World Series of Poker can facemap their faces onto characters in the game.
The most surprising thing about the camera, however, is the guesstimated price tag folks are putting on it: $39.99. There’s no official word yet, but that doesn’t sound like a bad deal for such a cool add on.
Word on the street has the camera releasing Sept. 19.
