Sega fans just can’t let go of the Dreamcast.
If you don’t believe it, check out Play-Asia.com where a Dreamcast watch is up for preorders. That’s right, a Dreamcast watch.
The online retailer is taking preorders for the watch, which is expected to be in stock Sept. 29. The watch, which was reportedly commissioned by Sega, actually has a face that looks like a Dreamcast. It doesn't play games though.
The nifty little device is selling for $129.90 USD.
That’s some serious fan boy merchandise there. Not as serious as some of the Xbox stuff, but still tacky and over the top. I love it!
Speaking of fan boys, the petition drive to try and talk Sega into creating its own next next-gen console is sputtering along in search of supporters. Less than 300 people have signed on in support of the petition since it was first created back in March.
The gist behind the drive is to get Sega to considering the next round of console play – after the 360, PS3 and Wii lose their luster.
