You’ve got to hand it to Jack Thompson. He’s almost like the Energizer Bunny of failed legal pursuits. The more he loses, the more he keeps on going.In the latest round of the Thompson saga, a Florida judge denied his request to block the sale of Rockstar’s Bully. Thompson had filed a motion earlier in the week, asking the court to “grant some relief to stop the witless, crass release of this game.”
The judge exercising what can only be called due diligence checked out the game personally and decided there was nothing dubious enough to prevent its sale. Thompson has, of course, disagreed. He’s even written the judge a pretty nasty letter to espouse his disapproval.
For his part, the Florida judge has made quite an impression. There’s even a GU Comic up about him and his Bully playing ruling.
Bully goes on sale Oct. 16.
