In the midst of all the good news about the release of the Wii, there was some grumbling going out about the lack of TurboGrafx in the online store. The titles had been promised to be released as of Day One, but that just wasn’t the case. Considering Nintendo delivered on most of what it promised, there wasn’t a huge uproar about the issue.
Now the first few TurboGrafx-16 have made their way to Wii’s Virtual Console. Titles include Bonk’s Adventure and Hudson’s Bomberman ’93.
There’s no explanation for the delay, but some are saying it’s likely had something to do with the certification process. Sounds reasonable to me.
At any rate, the games cost about $6 each, and more are promised in the near future. Here’s hoping the titles get better!
