With the launch of the PlayStation 3 and Wii just days apart, the guys at SmashOurStuff.com have been busy.Two lines to wait in. Two consoles to smash. Both went off without a hitch.
Their latest target was a Wii right out of the box. In a hail of sledgehammer smacks, the brand new Wii was pummeled into an early grave in front of a line of people who had waited up all night to get their hands on one.
The crowd reaction was a bit more kind to the destruction of the Wii than spectators were to the previous destruction of the PS3 by the same people.
There’s no doubt the guys at SmashMyStuff have been busy with two console debuts in a week and all. Still, it would have been nice if even for the rush cut they’d come up with a different theme song.
Dressing as Mario and Luigi was a nice touch though.
