The first Amazon Customer Vote has come to a close and the winner, hands down, is the Xbox 360.
This means 1,000 lucky buyers will be able to get their own next-gen console for a cool $100. The 360 was in competition against a Barbie, a bike and a gift certificate package. No contest really. On the upside for those who didn't want the 360 to win, those items will still be offered at a discount.
The available 1,000 units will go on sale Nov. 23 starting at 11 a.m. PST. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Some bloggers have come up with ideas on how to secure one of these before they sell out. They key, it’s reported, is using Firefox over Internet Explorer.
Next week’s potential deals on Amazon include diamond earrings, a drill and a portable DVD player.
