In just two weeks, the Xbox Live Marketplace will undergo a huge overhaul. The addition of high-def movies and TV to the online store will give the Xbox 360 a new marketing twist that’s hard to ignore and sounding easier and easier for fans to love.Speaking of fans, those who want to get an idea of what the new marketplace will look like can check out a bit of a sneak peak on YouTube. The two videos out have it looking pretty good. And, I have to admit, the updates have me more than intrigued.
The movie and TV announcement gives Xbox the total package and then some. Now, owners of the Microsoft console have all kinds of options at their fingertips. Of course, add on hardware will be needed for many, but considering the pricing difference, this could be the edge the 360 needs to make it stand out from the PS3.
I’ll definitely be hooking up my 360 on the 22nd or shortly thereafter to see what the high-def buzz is all about.
