There’s some big news on the Halo front that should give Master Chief fans a little to hold them over until the 2007 release of the much anticipated Xbox 360 game.
First off, beta registration for the title will open Dec. 4 on Bungie.net. This means gamers will be able to sign up for the public beta, which is expected to take place in the spring. Beta will be available for gamers in the U.S., Europe and elsewhere, per the Bungie site.
And, if that weren’t good enough news that things are moving forward, Bungie intends to tease Halo fans a bit during Monday Night Football on ESPN. A 60-second trailer for the title will appear between 5:50 and 6:20 PST during the big game. The trailer will be available after 8 p.m. on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
The more news about Halo 3 circulates, the harder it is to wait for the title to make its debut! Sounds like the wait will be well worth it though.
