Sigil Games Online and Sony Online Entertainment have announced that preorder boxes of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes are now available at certain retailers.Vanguard is an MMORPG that’s been under development by Sigil – the creators of the original EverQuest. Based on developer notes and interviews, it appears as if Vanguard will seek to strike a balance between the tedium found in some games and the spoon feeding of others.
The preorder boxes give gamers some major bonuses, including access to the game at least three days in advance of the official launch, a special account key that grants an in-game scroll with a special sprint enhancing power, an invitation to beta, guild mail and more.
Preorder boxes can be picked up at such retailers as GameStop, Best Buy and a few others.
