In the rush of the PlayStation 3 and Wii releases last month, I missed this little gem. Amazon Unbox is now offering movie and TV shows for play on the Xbox 360.All 360 owners need to do is connect their 360s to a Media Center PC to start watching downloads. The process is pretty simple, too.
The basics involve downloading the Unbox content to the Media Center PC and then turning on the 360 and selecting “Media Center” from the Media blade.
There’s even a nifty tutorial on how to accomplish the goal.
For those who don’t know, Amazon Unbox is Amazon.com’s answer to iTunes and other download sites. The prices are comparable and the content is getting better all the time. They’ve even added favorites like “Friends” and “The Yogi Bear Show” recently. Plus, there is a good selection of recently released movies, including one of my new personal favorites “An American Haunting.”
This looks like another nice perk for 360 owners in addition to Xbox's own download offerings.
