The new Xbox 360 movie and television download service is clicking along with some reported success. In fact, some think the system’s service is one of the best going.To show users what’s hot and what’s not, the site has now added to its traditional Top 10 lists to include the TV and movie downloads.
This week’s lists show what an eclectic bunch of shows and movies Microsoft has managed to get online to date. With offerings that span several decades, the service’s collection is pretty good and it seems to just keep getting better. Granted, it has a long way to go to rival the likes of iTunes, but for a first of its kind, it is impressive.
The top movies right now include “Mission Impossible III,” “Nacho Libre,” “V for Vendetta” and “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.” On the TV front, such shows as “South Park,” “Enterprise,” “Jericho” and “Robot Chicken” are found.
This is really going to be a great service to watch develop, and what will be even more interesting is to see what, if any, response Sony will have with its PS3.
