Capcom’s released its Lost Planet: Extreme Condition title for the Xbox 360 along with some inside secrets on how to get the best out of game play.
The first-person shooter has gamers taking on the role of Wayne Holden as he tries to recover his past. While he searches for the truth, he must find allies to help save humanity from the Akrid, an evil alien race.
Set in a frozen wasteland, Lost Planet looks absolutely awesome in its trailers and screen shots. The title retails for $59.99, but also has a special collector’s edition out for $10 more.
Game tips are being offered by Capcom on the game’s official community blogging site. The first installment zeroes in on multiplayer action and strongly recommends surround sound for the ultimate gaming experience. The tips are pretty limited at this point, but it looks like they’ll be expanded on a regular basis.
From the look of the screens and trailers, along with the fact it's demos have been a hot download on Xbox Live, this particular title might just give Gears of War and Halo a run for its money.
