MTV fans who can’t get enough of the show The Hills have their very own virtual world to call their own thanks to the launch of Virtual Hills. The new online offering uses the There.com platform, which was used to create Virtual Laguna Beach last year. The platform creates a 3D world based on the two shows. It's being reported that this latest title comes with a big twist. It seems players can teleport between the two MTV worlds.
A cross between an MMO and a giant, social virtual world, the two titles allow fans of the shows to “live” them.
Sounds pretty inventive on MTV’s part. Both titles, by the way, include appearances by cast members to help users enjoy their experience in the worlds.
