Sony Computer Entertainment Europe disappointed when it announced the PlayStation 3 release would be delayed until March, but they’ve made certain not to fall short of the mark twice.An official release date for the PS3 has been set for March 23 for Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Australasia with pricing set at EURO 599 (GBP 425, AUD 999.95, NZ 1199.95).
Only the 60GM model will be available upon release with the 20GB model to follow if the demand is present. Sony’s also promising about a million units during the launch period.
