Sony Online Entertainment and Sigil Games have announced the date the servers will go live for buyers of advanced copies of their latest entry in the MMORPG world – Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.Anyone who has purchased advanced copies will find the servers live at 10 a.m. on Jan. 26, just two days away.
The game’s open beta has officially closed and reports from gamer friends of mine who have played have varied from “interesting” to “clunky.” The friend with complaints is holding out hope the clunky feel was simply due to the beta status and not having all the bugs worked out.
Vanguard officially opens Jan. 30 for those who haven’t bought advanced copies. The MMORPG was created by the designers of the original EverQuest and sounds like it will be worth a spin.
The game will cost $14.99 a month to play, but there are discounts for Sony access accounts and multi-month purchases.
