All good things must come to an end and so it is for Vanguard’s beta testing. This particular good thing coming to an end, however, signals what is hoped to be an even better thing.The trial run will officially close on Jan. 23 at 11:59 p.m. PST. The closing will signal the final preparations for Vanguard: Saga of Heroes official Jan. 30 launch. The MMORPG was designed by Sigil Games Online and is being driven by Sony Online Entertainment.
Vanguard comes from the makers of the original EverQuest, but it looks and sounds like a lot of the mistakes of the past have been answered in this particular title. The game is being touted as one that strikes a good balance between ease of play and tedium.
Preorders for Vanguard are still being accepted. Getting the game early gives players a chance to check it out before anyone else does.
