The bugs aren’t close to being worked out, but that isn’t stopping tons of players from doing their best to learn the ropes of Vanguard. In fact, there’s already a wiki out to help players help each other traverse this strange and interesting world created by Sigil Games and delivered by Sony Online Entertainment.The Silky Venom Vanguard wikipedia aims to be “your one-stop reference resource for the systems and secrets of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, and the world of Telon.”
As a true wiki, it’s a work in progress, and since the game’s only a few days old, there’s lots of content to still be unlocked. Players of the game are invited to add information and correct it as necessary. Right now, this looks like one of the better resources to turn to for help in getting started.
As the wiki shapes up, SOE is still having lots of difficulty getting this game to run smoothly. The world servers and the chat servers are more than buggy. Those who have joined guilds are also having issues logging in to find out they’ve been booted. I know, I got booted from my own guild I was one of the leaders of!
Despite the glitches, Vanguard is absolutely beautiful. The seamless world looks like it’s going to be a whole lot of fun to explore. Now, if only the servers would work right so I can get to doing just that!
