Sony’s third Adventure Pack for EverQuest II is officially online. The Fallen Dynasty was heavily influenced by Asian lore and to celebrate that fact, players who download the pack will get a free bonsai tree for their rooms.
OK, that doesn’t sound like much of a bonus, but the trees are pretty neat looking. In fact, players have their choice between two trees. Fortunately, that’s not all the Adventure Pack comes with though.
At a price tag of $7.99 for regular EQII subscribers and free for those with long-term Station Access, the pack is a pretty good deal all in all. It includes such features as a base level cap increase from 50 to 55 for those who haven’t purchased other packs or expansions in the past, new weapon appearances with an Asian-influenced theme, new zones, new quests and more.
The new zones are accessible from the Thundering Steppes or Nek Forest docks where travel across the Buried Sea is offered. The zones are recommended for players levels 55 to 70 and it’s being touted that a serious raid zone has been added.
I’ll let you know more about the expansion when I get a really good chance to play it this weekend. I can’t wait. Right now, I can say it looks pretty incredible.
