SEGA Draws Big Names For Yakuza Voices

With such actors as Eliza Dushku of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” fame and Mark Hamill of “Star Wars” providing the voices, SEGA’s Yakuza should be at the very least quite interesting to hear.

The company has also lined up Michael Madsen from “Reservoir Dogs” to play the voice of Shimano the Yakuza boss. Other notables include Michael Rosenbaum and Rachel Leigh Cook.

I can’t help but chuckle at the thought of Hamill playing Majima, a crazy Yakuza boss with a reportedly twisted sense of humor. No matter how hard I try, I can’t get past the whiney Luke Skywalker from the first installment of “Star Wars.” (I know, get over it!)

The game, set for a September PlayStation 2 release, looks awesome. The storylines sound really good and the fact Dushku will voice a major character make this M-rated title look pretty interesting to me.
