Risk Your Life Beta recently has been grabbing the attention of many people including myself. I'm really interested in these Online RPG's, but I've never really played them as there are monthly fees and I'm never sure what to expect. Well Beta tests are done by the game companies to try and draw you in.
The general jist of the game is too meet new friends, do loads of quests, make guilds, have massive battles between races and guilds/clans. The good thing that ryl offers is that it is a realistic fantasy theme. Unlike SWG and by the looks of WOW. RYL has something special to offer, rather than a cheesy you view! Not saying the game is but by the looks and images!

Leveling UP
You do this by gaining experience, by questing and fighting. You can power level some people by going with a highier level and get more experience by fighting monsters along side with them. You need to be within 10-15 levels of each other or the highest party member.
Here are some of my sorcerers, they are my friends helping me leveling up. This is helpful as they inflict great amounts of damage but are weak against melee attacks. They are also not that great on duels. But great for a party player
Here's a good spot for experience, the Orc Camp. I would recommend going with friends or alone at a higher level. I love the big swords that the fighters have. Reminds me of Cloud from FF7.
This is one massive beast. I went holy sh*t!
You need around 3 people to kill him on level 40-50.
Stealth ability - This is only for assassin. Great ability, I love the affect and no one else can see except other assassins.
Not quite sure, i think this is a bug. I get more experience from these tiny beatles rather than the big beatles - very strange!
Very cheeky 99.99% experience and thats just not fair. One thing that bugs me is that the experience doesn't carry over. I don't get the experience of the person i kill even though if it was enough to get me another level, may be another bug :(

This portal takes you to another island. I've heard from my friends that they have seen the other monster creatures from here. Very crazy!
This is one that isn't lit up. They are still beta testing, so much more to come in the final product. I'm sure this portal will be active later.
I've managed to fix one bug I have had. Go to c:\program files\battlelands\rylonlonline\objects\instance
In there, there should be a file called vest.r3s, what you have to do is copy and paste it and rename it to robe.r3s And leave it in that folder.
IGNIQ were given a sneak peek at the trailer! It's really good, I've seen some great improvements on shaders, and effects. It's really gonna get much better, and believe me not just the graphics.
The server hasn't crashed once in the last 2 days that I have been on. Many improvements and effects are coming for those high spec machines.
I'm expecting many more improvements and quests and generally things to make it fun, like clan wars, races wars etc
Even though there have been many crashes I enjoy this game and the theme. Many things to explore, enjoy and the system is great so nobody can just kill you or hack or thief you, which is great!
This is very enjoyable, a rumour i've heard is that this is free 'till around December. I suggest you sign up now and enjoy while i's free. There are so many plus's in this game that it will keep a hold of you.
I use to crash regulary now i crash once or twice every 5-6 hrs which is a vast improvement and the RYL are improving it everyday
