 AdSense for Search
Google AdSense SearchGoogle launches a new service for AdSense publishers that allows them to add Google site search to their web sites, and earn revenue from ads clicked on the results pages.

This is another potential stream of income for webmasters of all levels of sophistication.
Users paste a Google search box into their webpages, and can add their own logos and colours to customise the results pages.

As has already been reported, the html provided is sub-standard and would cause a lot of pages to be invalid.
To modify the code, you must first contact Google and obtain permission in writing.

Also released at the same time:
  • A Google Adsense Preview tool for Internet Explorer.
It allows you to check what ads would be displayed on any page were AdSense to be used.
  • Site-Flavored Google Search from Google Labs - allowing webmasters add a site search to their pages that is customized to provide results based on the content of the site.
Fill out a profile of the topics that are relevant to your site, and generate specialized code to paste into your site.
It builds on a previous technology offered on the Labs page, Personalized Web Search.
