As Tusker you’ll experience all the thrills, danger and excitement of Africa as you go in search of your father’s dream… the elephant’s graveyard.
A friend who likes to link random stuff to me recently linked this walkthrough of Tusker for the Commodore 64… one of those games that might not be a classic in the scheme of things but will be remembered with fond memories by gamers of a certain age.
The cassette-loaded 2D side scroller saw you take control of a machete wielding hero on a quest to find an Elephant’s Graveyard somewhere in Africa. Apparently the game had three different zones: a barren desert, a network of caves, and a tribal jungle… although I can honestly only remember the desert section and that it was tough (or I just sucked at the game).
Check out the walkthrough here and the Player’s Guide including surprisingly detailed backstory and cryptic info about items in the game.
